The multifunction instrument drivers.

Function selection (neutral position).

Function selection is done by rotating the crown in neutral. By turning the crown clockwise a watch, is accessed sequentially, in sequential order, the following functions:

 

Selecting OFF any digital display.

Time display and analog minutes only.

 

Selecting ON 2 chronograph:

measure "short time" in hours, minutes, seconds and 1/100 seconds on a total of 24 hours. Measure lap times.

 

ON 1 selection alarm:

programming hours and 24 minutes.

 

ON 3 selection

Second Time Zone: indication of hours, minutes and seconds

in a second time zone

in 12h or 24h.

SETTING AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS (positions pulled and pushed) Display in 12h or 24h

1 select the "second time zone" ("T2" / ON 3 selection symbol) function.

2 press 1 on both the crown> mode is displayed for 2 seconds:

. if the letter "A" or "P" appears, the time is displayed in 12h: 8am is displayed 8.00 A, 8 hours in the afternoon appears 8.00 P.

. if the letter "A" or "P" does not appear, the time is displayed in 24h mode: 8am displays 8.00, 8h afternoon displays 20.00.

3 press 2 times on the crown to move from one display mode to another.

Display synchronization with analog digital display

NBAfter a battery change, it is necessary to synchronize the time on the hands (analog time) with that indicated by the numbers on the dial (digital time).

1 select the "no digital display" function (OFF selection).

2 pull crown> "R" symbol appears. The index "P" appears on the right times when the "12h" is selected (see § "display 12h or 24h").

Setting the Analog and digital time

The analogue display and digital display

5 Push the crown in neutral.

6 return if desired to the display "12h" (see § "Display in 12h or 24h mode").

 

Using the Alarm

1 select the "alarm" ("AL" / ON 1 selection symbol) function.

2 pull crown> digits flash.

3 Turn the crown forwards or backwards to display the time for the bell: rapid rotation ("dry" movement) can change the hours. Slow rotation can change the minutes.

4 push the crown in neutral:

. indication AL:ringing engaged.

. indication OF: non-switched ring.

5 press the crown to engage or not the "alarm" function.

6 press the crown to stop the alarm.

NB

1 regardless of 12h (the symbol "P" appears) or 24 to adjust the alarm time.

2 Alarm test: after selecting the "alarm" function (symbol "AL"), press out the crown for more than 2 seconds, the alarm should be heard.

 

Using the Chronograph

1 select the "chronograph" ("CHR" / ON 2 symbol selection) function> the very letters "ad" or "SP" is displayed at the bottom left of the dial, these are two modes of operation possible chronograph:

. the "Ad" mode or "Additional time" is used to measure lap times without catching the "short time".

.the "SP" mode or "Split time" is used to measure lap times catching up with the "short time".

2 Turn the crown forwards or backwards to display the desired mode: rapid rotation ("dry" movement) forward to switch from "SP" mode (split time) the "Ad" mode (Additional time). Conversely, rapid rotation ("dry" movement) back to switch from "Ad" mode (Additional time) in "SP" mode (split time).

Note the transition from one mode to the other is only valid when the counter is zero.

3 a 1st press of the crown starts measuring time.

4 a second press of the crown stops the time measurement.

5 in "Ad" mode: a third of the crown pressure recovery time measurement not counting downtime. In "SP" mode: a third of the crown pressure recovery time measurement by counting the downtime that is to say, catching up "in these times."

6.press it again to stop the ring timekeeping> counter displays the total elapsed time.

7 last long press (about 3 seconds) activates the reset counter.

NB

1 The total measured time is 23 hours 59 minutes 59.99 seconds.

2 If the total measured time is less than 1 minute, the selected mode is displayed. From 1 minute, the "Ad" symbol or "SP" is replaced by the total timed minutes.

From 1am, hundredth disappear, the meter displays the hours, minutes and seconds (HH MM SS). After stopping the chronograph, hours, minutes and seconds are displayed alternately with 3 seconds hundredths: HH MM SS then hundredths, HH MM SS and hundredths etc ...

3 It is possible to select and use any other function of the clock during operation of the chronograph. Back to the chronograph function, the selected mode is displayed for 3 seconds and disappears.

 

Setting the second time zone

1 select the "second time zone" ("T2" / ON 3 selection symbol) function.

2 pull crown> the hour digits and minutes flash.

3 Turn the crown forwards or backwards to display the desired time: rapid rotation ("dry" movement) can change the hours. Slow rotation can change the minutes (setting half hour: + or - 30 MM).

4 push the crown in neutral.

NB

1 indicating the seconds can not be modified, it corresponds to the local time (see § "seconds setting").

2 regardless of 12h (the symbol "P" appears) or 24 for setting the time of the second time zone.

 

Using Timer or "countdown"

1 select the "timer" ("TM" / ON 4 selection symbol) function.

2 pull crown> the hour digits and minutes flash.

3.turn the crown forward or backward to select the desired time: rapid rotation ("dry" movement) can change the hours. Slow rotation can change the minutes.

4 push the crown in neutral to start the countdown. The clock rings at the end of the elapsed time.

5 press the crown to stop the alarm.

6 reset the counter: press the crown about 3 seconds.

NB Reload Timer: a short press on the crown during the countdown can be restarted immediately the measure on the entire scheduled time.

 

Setting the Day

1 select the "perpetual calendar" button (select ON 5).

2 pull crown> the day and date disappear to reveal a letter to the left of the year (bottom right). The letter indicates the language in which the day is displayed: E = English, S = Spanish, F = French, D = German. The letter and the year flashing.

3 Turn the crown forwards or backwards:rapid rotation ("dry" movement)

allows you to change the language. A slow rotation change year.

4 push the crown in neutral> the day and date reappear.

 

Setting the date and month

Caution: Even if the month is not displayed during normal use of the watch, it must be properly selected for the smooth functioning of the perpetual calendar.

1 select the "seconds and date" function (ON selection 6).

2 pull crown> seconds disappear and the number of the month appears to the left of the date. The numbers flash.

3 Turn the crown forwards or backwards: rapid rotation (movement "dry")

allows to change the month. A slow rotation change the date.

4 push the crown in neutral> month disappears and the second relearning appear.

 

Seconds setting

1 select the "digital time" function (ON 7 selection).

2 pull crown:the numbers of hours and minutes flash.

3 Push the crown in neutral> the seconds digits flash for 1 minute.

4 press the crown in synchronization with a time signal or reference clock> numbers indicating the seconds are reset.

 

ROTATING BEZEL WAY

CAUTION: To secure timekeeping and reliability using the seriousness duation rotating the notched bezel is unidirectional. With unidirectional rotating bezel, the pilot has a measuring range of complementary and independent of hours of time dial. To take the time between 0 and 60 minutes from a chosen time T, align the triangle (behind the graduations tion) on the position of the minute hand by turning the bezel counterclockwise to wise. On the measuring window, the minute hand indicates the measurement of time elapsed since the original position selected (position of the triangle).

 

SEAL

After completing settings, press the crown in neutral to ensure a perfect seal to your watch. The crown should never be manipulated under water.

 

MAINTENANCE

After immersion in sea water, it is advisable to rinse the watch and bracelet with fresh water. It is also recommended that the water tightness of your watch every two years. To ensure service meets the requirements of the brand, working on your watch must be done by the repair station Bell & Ross or an authorized Bell & Ross watch. When repair occurs during the warranty period, you must submit the warranty card & Ross Bell, duly dated and signed by the retailer when purchasing the watch.
